Born in Japan, ceramic artist Junichi Tanaka established his working studio in British Columbia in 1998. His elegant stoneware has since been collected and enjoyed across Canada. Inspired by the natural surroundings of British Columbia, Tanaka creates functional pottery with an organic, understated beauty that feels equally at home in a modern kitchen or a peaceful, spa-inspired setting.
